Tired of working for others? Dreaming of being your own boss? A lucrative, very affordable 4 year-old pediatric practice is for sale. It is a solo General Pediatric practice located on the East-side of Metro Atlanta, just off of Interstate 20 in Conyers. It opened in late March of 2004. It started from a patient base of 0, but has grown to over 3000. The practice utilizes a very popular EMR and a state-of-the-art practice management/billing system. There are 6 fully furnished exam rooms and 2 physician offices, allowing you to add a second provider. The space is a lease which will expire at the end of March 2010, but opened for renewal. All of the initial legwork has been done and the new owner will be able to pay him/herself a very good salary at the onset. He/she will not have to sacrifice by waiting to grow the practice and taking numerous locum assignments in the interim. The billing is out-sourced, but the biller is exceptional. The patient base includes at least 50% of privately insured patients. The cost of buying this practice is equivalent to that of a start-up practice utilizing a state-of-the-art EMR without a patient base. I recommend that all interested applicants speak to a medical consulting firm about what this initial cost would be. An official "valuation" of the practice was obtained based on financial records as of mid-August of 2007. All financial information about the practice will only be discussed with serious applicants who qualify for a business loan. Please, only serious applicants need to inquire. I would like the transaction to be kept confidential until the sale is final.
