The Chapter holds a number of events each year.

Legislative Day at the Capitol

This meeting is held in February at the State Capitol.  This meeting provides an opportunity for Chapter members to meet with State Representatives and Senators to express their concerns regarding proposed or current legislation.

Winter CME Symposium

This annual CME conference is held in Atlanta in conjunction with the Georgia OBGYN Society in Atlanta.  Topics addressed are relevant to both the OBGYN and the Pediatric physicians.  This meeting provides the unique opportunity to education both of these groups on topics that are important in both specialties.

GPNA & GPPMA Spring and Fall Meetings

This bi-annual event brings together pediatric nurses and practice managers for a one day meeting.  The nurses meeting addresses clinical topics that are apply to nurses in the pediatric settiing.  The practice managers meeting addresses office administration, coding and human resource issues.

Spring & Fall CME Conferences: Pediatrics by the Sea & Pediatrics on the Parkway

These meetings receive statewide and national attendance. The meeting is intended to provide Georgia pediatricians and other child health professionals with varied health topics designed to address current pediatric issues. The target audience is pediatricians, family physicians, pediatric nurses and other child health care professionals.
