Dear Georgia AAP Colleague:

We want to remind you that this Thursday is A.S.K Day (Asking Saves Kids). Now that summer is here and children are playing often in the homes of friends, one important question has to be asked: “are there guns in your home & are they safely stored?”

We encourage you to remind your parents of this throughout the summer. It can make a difference.  The message below from the AAP provides more details & resources.

ASK (Asking Saves Kids) Day (June 21, 2018)

The ASK (Asking Saves Kids) Campaign promotes a simple idea with the potential to help keep kids safe. It encourages parents to ASK if there is an unlocked gun in the homes where their children play.
